“Emergence” Exhibition Mudgee NSW

With works featured in Regional Arts NSW Gift Guide, this exhibition represents a celebration of both the past and the future.

It considers the necessity of accepting our growth journey - including the messy parts, who we once were, and the difficulties faced in the ‘becoming’ stage.

To struggle is to be human and this collection was created following times of bliss and difficulty.

The journey to peacefulness and clarity, relying on friendship, faith and self-reflection is what led to the creation of ‘Emergence’.

It is my hope that this collection brings each person a moment of reflection on their own growth journey and the beautiful things (both people and places) which supported that growth.

Set inside a beautifully restored butcher shop, lose yourself in the building filled with character and history whilst enjoying the modern menu they’ve created.

“Finding Serenity” Exhibition in Mudgee 2024

My latest exhibition is now on display at Vinifera Wines in Mudgee.

It's such a beautiful venue to show my current collection of artworks based on the beautiful outdoor spaces in Mudgee Region and Regional New South Wales.

Spending time exploring the countryside of New South Wales has brought enormous amounts of peacefulness and joy. Being able to put these beautiful experiences on canvas is such a pleasure - as is sharing my new collection of interpretive works with you all.

Hello to my viewers!

Hello to my viewers!

It’s nice to meet you! To introduce myself a little, I’d like to tell you all that art has been such an important part of my growth. I’ve always loved it and often had creative projects going over the years. There’s something about making beautiful things with my hands that gives me a sense of purpose and, at times, rest.

I love that I can use my creativity not only to create beautiful things that I get to enjoy, but that others can enjoy too! There’s something incredibly satisfying and joyful about seeing my work up on someone’s wall. It tells me that it has a home and that it makes the home of my art collector complete.

I’m so pleased to be on this creative journey and to have you along for the ride with me!!

All the best

Melissa
